Pressure Pulse Sensor

Post by Joshasta »

Hey guys,

Just trying to figure out why my Intake waveform looks a little different to what I am used to seeing online.
Each cylinder appears to have 2x downward pulses instead of just 1 like I am used to seeing.
Any ideas why? I have tried different time bases and voltage settings.
I am also wondering what your opinions are on this waveform.
I think my exhaust valves opening early and closing late on this cylinder, I have hydraulic lifters...
But mostly just wondering why my intake waveform looks the way it does, or what anyone can see from it.
I have labeled the intake pulls on the top.

This is Relative Compression and Intake while Cranking.
chA- Relative Compression AC Coupled
chB- Intake Pressure Pulse Sensor
chC- Ignition Control
I have the cylinders labeled. Relative Compression looks even. and Cylinder 7 has a deep intake pull.
Does anyone see anything else in here? Is there any problems in the way I have labeled my cylinders?
