blue numbers on KM/H line

Post by doylej »

New to the PICO NVH. Doing a recording of a "bugged" Audi Q7 drive shaft for class. I am seeing some blue dots with numbers in them on the km/h red line. The programs announces the numbers as they appear. I cannot seem to find this in any material Ive looked at so far. I know its probably something easy that I missed but I give up :) see attached

Hello and thank you for the post

The blue numbered circles represent the gear position of the transmission

They are announced and appear when the Advanced section under the Vehicle Information tab of the NVH software has been completed (see below)

I hope this helps, take care........Steve

Sorry I should have also explained why gear ratios were displayed if you had not populated the Advanced section under the Vehicle information tab

If you load an NVH file (which had been saved with the gear ratio fields populated) and then select "Record and Analyze" & "Start Recording" upon road-test, these gear ratios will be announced as they are saved with the loaded file

I hope this helps, take care......Steve
