Can anyone explain what the results of channel A voltage ruler means in this position.
As I lift it it displays Kv as it is IE 2Kv,2.75Kv etc etc

27880 V / 1000 = 27.88V

Not nice indeed but keeps your math sharp.

HI,

Thanks for the reply.

Confusing as it actually says 27.88 at the start of the reading. So why all the division and sq root stuff? Plus the minis 3Kv?

That is not 3KV rather 10 at power of -3.

Again, not the best choice of showing a number agreed. As I’m not the designer, I can’t comment on the choices.

I agree, the ruler legend and populated value do not lend itself to easy interpretation

Would you have the psdata file for this capture and if so could you post here?

Which version of PS7 was used for this capture?
