Hello Ted and welcome to the forum

We have a lot here to digest and we are all here to help

Re your scope in automotive applications, could you take a look at the link below as this will help clarify some of the limitations you will experience

topic19501.html?&p=87821&hilit=2204#p87821

For additional sources of Scope information/support we have our library section here https://www.picoauto.com/library and our YouTube channel here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0j4RP ... PdEL-Q7m9A

I hope this helps, take care....Steve

So i guess from your reply to my introduce yourself post , you are not going to allow my post asking for help using a 2205A to try capturing a primary ign waveform , yes it is not a high $ unit , but all / Some of us can afford to get started . And yes i do understand the smoke might escape during my endeavors to learn . If there is no Support for my model scope in the picoauto.com/forum Please let me know , alternative is to allow my post Seeking Help . And some one might be kind enough to try helping me , As a side note on the pico.com/forum users of 2200 series are advised to try the auto forum as there questions are from the auto world ?

Thank you.
