I got this waveform from a Opel Astra 2005 engine XEP16. problem is long crank time P0300 random misfire
I can tell it is not right, but is my connection right one lead to signal wire Brown and the other lead to battery Ground (earth)

I went back to the car and put both leads on the sensor. I had 1,32V on both wires unplugged.

Hello and thank you for the post.

Most certainly I would examine the crankshaft sensor pick up ring based on the shape of the waveform at the "reference point" (Missing teeth)

This is where the waveform library comes into its own and where we must thank LucaB for his contribution

Please take a look at Bens video here https://www.picoauto.com/library/waveform-library on how to access the waveform library using PS6 at present (PS7 coming soon)

Below we have the Waveform Library in action:
Image 1

Here we can see how the loaded crank signal (Red) from the Waveform Library differs to yours (Blue)
Image2

I think it would also be helpful to compare LucaB cam and crank signal with your own for any possible correlation issues

The following links will help:

topic21754-10.html

I hope this helps, take care......Steve

Here is a picture of the missing tooth, it is no damage to the reluctor wheel but my first thought when I saw the waveform it was a misaligned sensor but it is not possible. Hopefully, I get the sensor before Christmas

Car fixed with the crank sensor but now is the misfire still there freeze frame data show random misfire cyl 4 setting the code at 1900 rpm engine temp 65 C here is a file with amp clamp on all injectors and primary injector voltage cyl 4 this look suspect.

Haven’t seen waveform but these engines are notorious to misfire random when intake egr channels are dirt blocked there is even an tsb for. Take egr plug out clear codes test again.
