Post by kotaku1421 »

Hi guys,
I have BMW 116i(F20 Chassis with N13) and its have issue with massive smoke from exhaust.

I just wanted to see the mechanical condition so I prform In-cylinder pressure test.(Please see attached file)

And I knotice that intake stroke pressure is lower than exhaust stroke pressure.
I dont think its normal but I am still lerning I dont know what couse that waveform, so can you please someone tell me whats couse this kind of waveform?

Best Regards.

Hi.
..........................
This is an old song.))
These are VALVETRONIC tricks.
The engine has a mechanical defect, falling out of the valve seats.
It is less likely ,that the hydraulic compensator (HVCC) intake side is faulty.
There is no air supply to the cylinder.
This is why the vacuum value on the intake stroke is so high.
You can check this version by switching the engine to emergency mode (disable the camshaft sensor, for example).
In most cases, when running at idle with throttle control, the engine becomes smoother.
