Laptop spec.

Post by Bunyip »

Hullo, I need a bit of advice. I've acquired an old 3423 along with some accessories and leads etc. but the ancient laptop that came with it is unusable. To get a suitable one, I'd like to know what (minimum) spec. to aim for. Its main use will be in the workshop and in vehicles. Any suggestions would be welcome.

They can be pricey but the Panasonic tough-book is a good pick,I've seen it dropped, soaked with water and in general, beat up and came back to life every time..

I always think the phrase "minimum spec" is dangerous one.

My advise with anything tech / computer wise is always to get the biggest and best you can afford at the time.
