Pico for Lexus Toyota Scion 4223-12

Post by LexusDitech »

Are there limitations with the pico scope that is supplied to the Lexus dealerships. When I have the scope connected and want to go to the wave form library under the "File" tab I do not see the library link. I also can not find how to get the 720 degree measurement to show during the compression test. It may all just be user error but they seem like simple tasks. I have attached a picture of the information on the back of our unit.

In a word "Yes"

The scopes supplied to the VM's are specifically locked to a configuration and software that is specified by the VM. So as a general rule of thumb what you see is what you get. And in many cases you will not be able to update to the latest Picoscope software unless you have access to the dealer portal, and as you have found out certain features are not supported.

One would expect dealership to have access to all waveforms they need, straight from the factory. Maybe that explains missing button?
