PS7 waveform library...

Post by DaleBuck »

Probably a silly question but I can't seem to access the waveform library in PicoScope 7. The option remains ghosted even though I'm logged into the forum.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

Cheers!

Hello and thank you for the post

The Waveform Library access is not yet possible via PS7 and so PS6 will be required

Rest assured work is most certainly in progress with the integration of the Waveform Library to PS7 and will be announced with the release notes accompanying the relevant version

I hope this helps and sorry for any confusion caused

Take care......Steve

It has been a year and still no access to Waveform Library with PS7.

When can we expect this to be added, or will it be added?

Hi Team Pico,

I am attempting to upload captures to the Waveform Library and I am consistently receiving a character limit warning, however none of the user input fields appear to exceed the limits, it would also be helpful if the warning could identify the field that is causing the character limit issue.

Thanks Team
Regards Brad.

Hi Steve,

Appreciate the quick response.

Something I have noticed with a previous file I was successful in uploading to the WFL was that this file was significantly smaller (1,056KB) and had slightly different metadata (missing ECU make, ECU model and Generation has a few more characters). Please see attached screenshot.

Unfortunately I cannot attach the psdata file to this post given the file size 43,890KB (although Pico says this will be approx. 26MB when saving), please see link to file.

On another note if I attempt to amend metadata such as add in the ECU make/model to the file, save and reupload to the WFL I am presented with a warning that the file already exists, how can this be achieved? An option to overwrite the existing WFL file would be a good feature.

Thanks again Steve,
Regards Brad.
