Hello everyone,
I got a problem with a 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE T-Model (S212) E 350 CGI, 305l, Engine M 272.983
The Engine made first a sound by kickdown. The CAM phasing was not functioning well
We change Crank sensor, timimg chain, all CAM relating parts (see picture in attach). The noise was gone and the engine runs very well
Now only by high RPM or Kick down I got the DTC P1211: Cam-/Crankshaft position Bank 2
The chain is mounted 100%, CAM and CRANK relating to each other the whole time
Have you seen similiar fault? Could driving for long distance helps with the adjustment of the new parts?
