external amplifier

Post by Dark_Vader »

Hello ! :D
I just bought an 8 channel pico! and I would like to know which models you suggest or recommend for the purchase of an external amplifier! if there are models you have tested that you liked :) or disliked :( it would be nice of you to let me know!

(The PicoScope 4823 has a built-in low-voltage function generator (sine, square, triangle, DC level and others) and arbitrary waveform generator. The output voltage range is ±2 V, and so an external amplifier will be required for most workshop applications.)

Hello and thank you for the post

From what I can see out there via the web, there are a number of options to amplify the output of the 4823 signal generator but the limitation seems to be current.

One such device can be found here but limited to approx 0.5 A

I have no doubt that increasing the current capability of an amplifier in order to drive actuators such as EGR valves is going to result in an increase in cost

I hope this helps, and please feedback should you find a solution that suits your intended application

Take care.......Steve
