Does my Picoscope 4425 need and use Firmware? Can it be updated? Where do I download it?

Hello and thank you for the post.

Firmware updates are carried with PicoScope 6 Automotive software updates which include new drivers

(Firmware update is automatically included in the Software update)

If you are writing your own code then you may wish to visit the T&M website and download the Pico Software Development Kit (SDK) here

Here you would have access to the relevant drivers that include the appropriate firmware update
