Pico Diagnostics

Post by Technician »

I did a cylinder balance test using Pico diagnostics and when I was observing the bar graphs the bar graph B never changes from 1.00. When I did a cylinder compression test using Pico diagnostics all four cylinder bar graphs move. A relative compression test shows no problems with either starter circuit or maximum current demand from each cylinder at TDC. Any view points on this one would be appreciated thanks.

Maybe its kept stationary as the strongest and the others are referenced to it.

Pico has to guess at a benchmark because of the very little info it asks for in that test.

Pico Diagnostics tests are really not worthwhile in comparison to using a scope as a scope. You are Missing out on so much raw data and the opportunity to analyse so many aspects of it.

It is so much like cheating. Think back to your school days, getting some one to do you your Maths homework for you and still getting a slap in the morning from your teacher for getting it wrong.
