Mazda 3 2007 2.0 Diesel

Post by FaurNelu »

Does anyone have a good waveform for this type of car ? I've looked in the library but only found one for Mazda 6 . And from what I see the crank and cam look to be out of sync . The timig is good . Don't know what happen to the car but it seems like the transmision was out , maybe to change the flywheel . I'm thinking that the locking pin on the crank came out with the old flywheel if it's even possible and they put the new flywheel in the wrong position .

By slowing the speed of rotation of the crank-shaft ,you can roughly judge the position of TDC.
In Your example - the position of the TDC is approximately the correct.
But the position of the CRANK-CAM pair does not correspond.

.
A possible error is due to the fact, that the marker of the camshaft sensor is not located directly on the shaft , but on the hydraulic pump gear drive.
It should be checked.
.
If the engine is not disassembled, then your version is correct.
And the flywheel is set 180 degrees wrong.
