Ruler settings not showing

Post by rudolf »

Hello.

I saw in demonstrational videos and guides that one can set the number of rulers, like here, in the compression testing tutorial:
https://www.picoauto.com/images/uploads ... rulers.jpg

I pulled out the 2 rulers from the side, but when I go to ruler settings, it's emtpy. Now I am working with the 2 rulers and the 2 additional ones from the left side, and changing their values to where I need them to be, but I would love to be able to use it as it is used above. Is it some weird setting or maybe something I need to install for that popup to work? It doesn't work on my PC or on my laptop. Using Picoscope 4423 if it is of any importance.

Thank you!

What version of Windows?

If you are running 7 with a Windows Classic theme, try changing that to Windows 7 theme.

Wow. Right on spot. Thank you!

Which setting does Picoscope require for this feature, because the PC is a little old and I prefer using classic theme so that visual effects don't eat up resources? I do have the "Adjust for best performance" ticked in system settings, but I prefer the simple classic look.

You are welcome. Glad that got it resolved.

I don't know why the theme selection affects PicoScope behavior.
