current clamp

Hello all
I am looking for some opinions on bnc jacks vs 4mm jacks. I currently have a TA009 current clamp and i use a bnc to 4mm jack adapter.I am looking to add a 2000 amp current clamp and was thinking about also getting it with 4mm jacks so it would also function with a dvom in field locations.I was wondering if there is any downside to getting it to use for two options. The other option is getting it with bnc and an adapter to 4mm ,just wondering if anyone has experience with this.
