hi all i am tring to do a relative compression check on a 1994 v8 landrover disco
i cannot seem to get the proper wave as sample pico settings.. can anyyone advise how to get proper readings? tried various different settings, but to close a wave- form to evaluate cranking amps per cylinder :cry: regards j..and does anyone know the air flow voltage for same car at idle it is near 2 volts hc are at 3000 ppm and only come down when cruising was towed in for non start i adjusted air gap at dist (low reading for pick up) got car going! but i suspect air flow meter..playing with my pico so i want the relative comp settings..dont think its a cylinder prob but i want to be sure! any help regards j..

Hi Thank you for your enquiry. You need to select the petrol Relative Compression test from the Automotive menu and your 600A current clamp should be positioned on one of the two battery connections as described in the Relative Compression help file.
