Hi Technician,

The other thing you could use is the automotive tab on the toolbar. This will load a preset with a trigger into your scope and allow you to quickly get something stable on the screen. There are a number of options here so pick the best one to suit the vehicle you are looking at. Sometimes the presets aren't quite setup to everyone's preferences but they are really useful to get a quick set up plus an offline web page pops up to help you connect if you're unsure with some information on the sensor you are testing. Once you have something on the screen then it's a matter of fine tuning to suit your needs.

Thanks Ben,

Yes I have been aware of the automotive tab for some time, I've spent quite a long time researching the Pico site and seen some very good information and instructions, the added advantage of being able to download the Pico software even without having a Pico scope over the years has been a very good advantage to learn the software, but then the real learning kicks in when scoping :D
