Being able to trigger of a Math Channel would have more value than the title suggests.
Great for catching Engine Cut out, Erratic Idle, Hunting .....
We now have everything running on a PWM and or Frequency, which leaves Triggering on Voltage, Current or Pressure still very useful but on the modern vehicle is "Half a Job" in terms of diagnosing an intermittent issue.
We can get Effect" but not always "Cause"
As modern day technicians our biggest challenge is the intermittent fault.
In my humble opinion this would be great leap forwards for the industry - would save a whole heap of time and should add a few K's to annual income - I'm sure !!
