New beta v16.12.4.2427 bug - Saved Actived Filter

Post by FioranoCars »

Hi
When opening a file saved with active filtering, it keeps a note of the Hz but unticks the box ...

I've only tried it with files saved with the beta, so not sure if it's an opening the file or saving the file issue.

Best

Hi Mike/Steve/Pico Bug squashers

Another bug/undesirable/unexpected behaviour is relating to the changing of channel settings, the Probe selection:
Using the elipse ("...") does not seem to change the selection at all, or if it does, not often
the drop down method seems more reliable, but sometimes even that is not 100%
It would be good if the current selection was more clearly highlighted in both lists/methods, and the new selection was clear too ... this might be might colour scheme, but don't think it is.
This is re-produceable all the time.

And another, although had less joy reproducing it, is relating to scaling/offset axis
If using the "click" the coloured box, brings up pop up dialogue, use arrow to increase offset scale to max, it stops at 90% sometimes, I thought this was a limit, until I then dragged the side scale on the main window to move the scale beyond that. It does not stop at 90% all the time, but has done it, so some rogue code somewhere ... easy to bypass, but a bug nonetheless.

Thanks
Richard

Hi Bug Squash Team
Another bug in the beta.
This was created on one PC using the 4425 scope in current beta, then saved and looked at on another machine (well 2) both without scopes attached, using current beta.

The ruler while positioning shows only WHOLE seconds on the tool tip as it's dragged (not in screen grab) and in the box also show whole seconds) for both left and right ruler. the calculation however does appear correct.

Not sure if this is behaving like this before saving or only after, not had a chance to open the file on the original PC with scope attached. All 3 PC's Win10x64.

If you wan the actual file, shout but seems to reproduce easily enough.

Richard
