Garage logo

Post by steve-amt »

Hello all,

Just setting up my 4425 on laptop. I noticed that when I can print off test results IIRC I saw this under battery testing our garage details & Logo can be on the page the customer gets. I can't find any info on setting the paperwork up either on Pico site or in help topics in the software.

I have found the relevant section under "preferences in the file menu and have entered address, phone No etc But when I select a logo from my hard drive it stays in that section as it's location. I can't open the results sheet to see what it looks like.
Is there a particular file type I should use IE .jpg .png .gif and is there a best size for the logo?

I'm still a bit thick but I'll get there

Hi There,

I know you have done a few of these steps, but here is the procedure:

When you open the File>Preferences dialog box, you should see the Logo: entry box. Here, if you click the down arrow, you should see the Browse... option appear.

This will likley open in your PC's Documents directory. Using the familiar browse and selection process, you should be able to choose your logo of choice.

To check your logo, run a dummy Battery Test. With your mouse, choose:

Battery Test
Start
(wait a few seconds)
Stop
Cancel the "Please Start Engine" dialog
Click OK
File>Print Preview
Choose No on the "You have not entered any details..." dialog if you see it.
This should show you a print preview with your logo at the top of the page.

I'll check on best resolution/size for the logo with our Dev team.

If this doesn't answer your question, please let me know,
Mike Valentine
