Pico 4423

Post by wizz97 »

Just changed to a HP Pentium 4 3Gig XP Pro running the latest stable version of Pico 6. I don't now why but all channels sit on 300mV and will not zero. I tried a 1.6V supply on all the channels. Firstly in the correct polarity but the trace dropped to 200mV. I reversed the supply which read the correct -1.6V.
Should I be suspicious of the PC ?

Hello and thank you for the post.

This does seem odd for sure, can I confirm the software version of PicoScope to be version 6.10.16 ?

Can you confirm the XP operating system to be functioning with SP3 and fully up to date via "Windows Update"? (Both essential and recommended updates)

I would like to try the scope on another laptop/PC if possible before we dive into diagnosis.

Do you have access to another PC using this scope with the relevnat software?

Please us know how you get on?

Take care.......Steve
