Re: Ford Ranger cam code P1174

Thanks Guys

Opened up the launch and there were plenty reset options but nothing specific to the cam and crank so I chose the PCM full reset and that seemed to have eliminated the cam codes.

Thank you.

Re: Ford Ranger cam code P1174

Unfortunately I can't upload the PSD file because its too large? It was done in 2ms per division to capture a WOT.

I will redo it witch a smaller time frame and post it up.

Apart from that, the only other thing I can see is that my cam signal...

Toyota Hiace 1TR timing issue

Screenshot_20210927-211906.png This vehicle had issues with sometimes starting but running 50deg BTDC and then in one key cycle would be a crank no start with timing at 125degrees retarded without touching anything. Turns out that the crankshaft reluctor was fitted back to front and although our ca...

Re: 2002 HDJ101 1HD-FTE crank no start

1hd-fte SPV+ known bad.png I realise I may have posted this in the wrong forum, in that there is not a detailed explanation of the case study? Its more a study of a particular waveform where the fault cleared very briefly and then went back into a crank no start condition. Anyway, a bit of history ...

Toyota_Granvia 1996 pump timing corellation.psdata Please could someone help me interpret the spill control valve timing correlation on a 1996 Toyota Granvia with a 1kz-te engine. Vehicle starts but it has no power and a serious diesel knock. I'm wondering how accurate the spill control valve open/...
