Battery test issue in Pico 6.11.12

Hello, Why the Battery test from Pico 6.11.12 report 12.1v if the measured voltage at the start of test is 12,7v(this was a displayed value on the upper bar when I pressed start)? The calculated capacity is 1231 CCA?Wow... I used for test Pico 4425,TA167,and the old equivalent of TA125(a black one ca...

Re: Polo 1,2 3-Cyl. 2006 BMD - Cylinder drops out

Today i took some waveforms at different RPMs, from Cyl. 1 (no misfires) and Cyl.2 (shutting off). Maybe anyone sees a cause - i don´t. If i messure peak to peak, then i get always only half of the real rpm in the bottom right corner from the Pico-SOftware, is that normal ? Hello, The peak pressure...

Re: BMW E92 2009

Hi guys Here I am again. I'm still fight with BMW. Mounted the new coils and spark plugs but without success... Then I made a test injectors and finally ... As soon as I mounted the new injector I will continue with waveforms. I also saw that compression is not good but we'll see how it will work w...

Re: BMW E92 2009

Hello, Thank you for the firing voltage explanation...is the first time when I see this event recorded at high sample rate :D In many ignition diagnostic manuals I see scope with settings at 20-50v/div and 1ms/div for primary voltage waveform. Back to the topic:inspect if the spark plugs is ok,not m...

Re: BMW E92 2009

Hello, In my opinion the marked firing voltage is a misfire event(the firing voltage isn't at drop of coil curent,a short burning time, but at 700 us after we have strong oscilations?) And 20 Ks/s will give a resolution at 100us,enogh for the analyze of firing voltage and spark line. Of course a high...

Re: BMW E92 2009

Hello,
Monitoring primary I think there isn't autoinduction sometimes, also freq(b) have some strange variations
Replace cop and repeat the test on cyl 1.

Audi A4 BLS cam vs crank sync

Hello, On 2005 Audi A4 /BLS engine type I have P0341 readed with KTS. I can't find suport in Esitronic for this fault code. The camshaft sensor was replaced, the timing was checked. The signals was captured at the ECU side ,but I can't find a SSP for Audi 2005 with 1,9 diesel. SSP036,SSP209 show me ot...

Re: Bmw E39 M5. Coil Driver

Hello,
My mistake, didn't see the post on the second page...
But the switched ground is on collector when a positive pulse is on the gate and emitter is allways on the ground
if your equivalent was a N-channel IGBT.

Re: Bmw E39 M5. Coil Driver

Hello,
according to datasheet your IGBT can drive more than 20A Ice so the measured component must be faulty...why the emitter is at 14 volts and collector at gnd in your attached image?
