Hi Landroverman. there is a sensor in the sump area which will stop the engine starting if there is an oil pressure problem, which also will disable the fuel pumps, Recently I saw a Ford Transit with a failed Temperature Sensor that paralysed start, thinking it had o...

Re: Land Cruiser 3.0TD No Start, Cam/Crank sensor

I thought that too from the details in the post till I looked it up on Wikipedia. The very reason I looked to be certain before I posted.

Mercedes will give you Cam Crank Diagrams in WIS and Star Guided Tests that you would like to think are accurate a...

Re: Land Cruiser 3.0TD No Start, Cam/Crank sensor

Not with any certainty but I guess measuring it that way would fit with the Training and Tools they provide. I am sure there are no viruses in .jpg files. If you could be so kind to ...

Re: Opel Zafira B 1.8 Z18XER stall after start or no crank

painstakingly checked every ultrasonic bond with a very fine tipped pick and they was all good, maybe component failure I would say your testing is flawed. These can always be made to fail and work on demand by stressing the ECU connectors. As you said "Maybe" Maybe diagnostics ??? Not in my arena ...
