Re: Standard test leads

Dear Sir/Madam

I have spoken to the Engineers here at Pico Technology and they tell me the 'Standard Test Leads' are an RG58A equivalent.

I hope this helps to answer your question.

Kind Regards

Re: What are the advantages of a 4 channel kit over the 2 ch

Hi Jarrod You have mentioned on this thread that you work on upto 8 cylinders. It might be worth depending on what type of Scope you decide to go for i.e. 4 Channel or 2 Channel to take a look at the Mixmaster. This will allow you to look at the 'Secondary Signals' on upto 12 Cylinders at once. If y...

Re: 4423 no comms with laptop

Hi Damian If you have tried different cables USB then im assuming for now this isnt the problem. Im guessing you have maybe just carried out a Software upgrade. It could be possible you have upgraded or installed the software with the scope connected. This could lead to in most cases, the scope not ...

Re: what are the advantages of a 4 channel scope over a 2 ch

Hi Jarrod To be fair it depends on you as a person and how you work. My honest answer based upon my usage is 4 channels is the way to go. If you think of a customer who brings a car in for lack of power, lets say a Common Rail Diesel engine, No Fault Codes present, where do you go? Well you could co...

Re: Write rpm and duty cycle in a line.

Hi Here is an example of plotting frequency using the 4000 Series Automotive Scope. afm_digital_dt.png You can see that Channel A is plotted in 'Hz' i.e. Frequency. Channel B shows the trace as a voltage measurement. You can download this waveform from the attachment and use it as a settings file fo...

Re: ADC 212 works on usb connection?

Dear Sir/Madam Firstly thank you for your forum post. There is an issue though with obtaining the specific adaptor as unfortunately not any normal adaptor will work this. You would need a Pico Technology Parallel to USB adaptor but unfortunately you can no longer purchase these through us at Pico Te...
