This posted compression waveform is correct. Nothing wrong with that, Look at the uploaded waveform f a Z18XER performing OK
Thank you very much, spot on. Then I can upload my waveform to the database, for future references.

Re: Opel Vectra C Z18XER compression waveform doubt

@kona, it will be no other measurement. I was wondering if anyone else’ve seen this before. Again, that is engine off, cranking, pedal to the metal.
You say that second dip is because of VVT. I tend to believe that, but I am not 100% sure.

Opel Vectra C Z18XER compression waveform doubt

Hi all,

Did anyone measured the cranking compression waveform for an Z18XER engine?

Got this car with misfire and poor running / idling. I believe injectors clogged, but have a look on the waveform. I've never seen a second pressure dip in the intake stroke.

Any thoughts?

Re: 4425 Delphi injector readings

For the sake of clarity. All channels have to have the black lead connected to minus. If you want to float measure your channels (2 or more channels connected in the same time), you have to ensure beforehand that the difference in potential between channel grounds is not higher than 30V (I've seen h...

Re: Getting started with my 4425

Nobody is interested in bad captures. I think I have to check my uploads, and delete them as well.
If I need to go to library, I need known good captures, so I can check my diagnostic.
