Re: VW Polo 2013 1.2 TSI Missfire on warm up setting codes

Thanks to Liviu for the video reference of DD, I downloaded your first capture of cam/crank, ignition, injection etc then it got difficult to display the rest, from that I see what looks like a lean misfire, [why?] Forget cam/crank/timing issues I recall seeing a post of a known good online recently...

Re: VW Polo 2013 1.2 TSI Missfire on warm up setting codes

I should add the front 02 sensor, wide band could be scoped to confirm mixture live data, it should respond where as scan data can be locked out until parameters are met there is a simple hook up for Bosch wide-band on Pico training can send the link if you need Cheers Ron W

Re: VW Polo 2013 1.2 TSI Missfire on warm up setting codes

Good video that one all of his are very informative. Usually multiple cyl misfires are a result of lean mixtures by air by passing the MAF like pcv valve sticking, brake booster leak etc anything that upsets air to fuel ratio, for starters I would scope the spark firing line on a couple of accessibl...

Re: Yet Another Parasitic Draw Case

I feel your pain, some times we get to close to the woods to see the trees, that battery has to die, keen to hear the end result. Face to face word for word a lot of forum queries are easily fixed, we do not have that as a group, the advantage of the forum is to be able to sort the wheat from the ch...

Re: Yet Another Parasitic Draw Case

Hi Hexibolt Liviu is on the money for a simple test it works. A further test is refit battery to vehicle batt voltage at 12.6 to 12.45V switch headlamps on 10 mins check voltage, crank to start check min crank voltage, a sulfated or weak battery will drop quickly. Test results for a vehicle I just d...

Re: 2001 320i petrol 2.2ltr 6cylinder

Hi Johnny P I have spent a lot of time over the years with fuel conversion, from the early carburetor conversions, through to computer controlled gas injection. Isolate the LPG system and deal with petrol only. Turning of the tank valve is not a guarantee of fuel shut off as enough LPG may bleed pas...

Re: 2001 320i petrol 2.2ltr 6cylinder

Hi JonnyP Is it dedicated LPG or dual fuel, was it running prior to the no start situation ? Check the basics if not already done, hook a timing light to #1 plug via an extension mark #1 TDC on crank pulley crank it to check basic timing, use easy start or some propellant to see if it fires thats it...
