Re: High pressure fuel sensor no ground, SENT signal

Hello That's a really interesting case study you have created here which covers the decoding of a rail pressure sensor which is using the SENT protocol to transmit both pressure and temperature signal to the ECU. Maybe I can help you with some of the decoding of the SENT protocol, but firstly I most...

Re: Maths is cool

Hi Steve What a great writing you have done here. It is not an easy task to calculate the correct airflow that the engine consumes when there are so many parameters / variables to be include in this calculation. One thing that you were a little suspicis about were the pressure sensor range and if yo...

Re: TOP ISSUE...

Hi autobrejo There are something odd or strange with this injector waveform you have taken. Firstly - I don´t think you amp probe are reset correctly if you ask me. There shouldn´t be any current draw when the fuel injector isnt switched to ground - you have around 182 mA , so try to reset your amp ...

Re: Rav4 fault code 78(8)

Hi

When you replaced the suction control valve (SCV) - did you make a "FUEL PUMP ECU RESET" of the SCV !!! - if thats not the case, then read this document.

Re: Peugeot 308cc RHF Engine Will not start

Hi Iver I did a little research in my arkive of delphi documents related to common rail system where there are a description of your DTC P0215 that you sometimes get during long cranking time. This DTC P0215 is the supply power to the ECU and despite your great effort to check this relay - would I t...

Re: Peugeot 308cc RHF Engine Will not start

Hello When I look at the rail pressure sensor voltage and compare this with the time before the engine starts to rotate - is there something odd going on in the pressure rail. There shouldn't be any pressure in the rail at that stage - you have a voltage reading from the FRP sensor at 1.7 volt which...

Re: Skoda Yeti 2011 rough running, lack of power and smoke

Hi. Is it black smoke coming from the tailpipe ! If that's the case I would be looking at the MAF sensor and this is despite your comment. You should check the specified vs actual values from the maf sensor it could be reading a high MAF value. The diesel particle filter is cleaned and my first thou...

Re: 2002 vw polo 1.2 AWY

The dtc you are referring to are related to heater circuit of the oxygen sensor - so check the resistance of this circuit which should have a resistance between 1 to 5 ohms. You could also check how much amps this circuit are consumeing with a current clamp around the feed wire to sensor. Regards Kim

Re: problems with picoscope 6.13.6 on windows 10

That's also my experience after I installed the latest software. After some troubleshooting I found a solution to this problem - just change your regional language to danish - then it works flawless. I´ve have send a bug report to picoscope, so they know there are problem with this software version....
