Re: Cummins QSB 6.7 HP Rail Pressure Sensor

Thanks for the update Wes, and great work on getting it sorted. Awesome use of the crank math channel as well. I use it a lot especially for performance based issues where there is either multiple misfires or worse - no fault codes. You can see more on it here https://www.picoauto.com/library/case-s...

Re: Cummins QSB 6.7 HP Rail Pressure Sensor

Hi Wes, Keep us posted on how Friday goes. It'll be interesting to see if that is the signal you are supposed to be getting or if it's a different type. As you say might be worth breaking out the plug and see what each pin is doing even if that's the first test you do with a simple key on, engine of...

Re: LIN Bus decoder & LIN Controlled Alternators

Hey Alex, Thanks for the update and apologies for the delayed reply. I think it is a case of the this vehicle needs to be driven to determine what happens next. If this is almost a characteristic of this regulator, then we won't be able to ever fix that! As I mentioned in a previous post it maybe th...

Re: Cummins QSB 6.7 HP Rail Pressure Sensor

Hi Wes, Got to love the comment from the customer - do it as cheap as possible! Thanks for the post and great to see Pico being used more and more in the off highway sector. Out of interest what were the fault codes? With regards to the waveform you have, it looks like you might have the temperature...

Re: Cummins Waveforms

Hi, My best advice is to take a look through the waveform library but you may have to get a little creative with how you search. Rather than searching on make and model you can use any of the search fields to filter the library. Engine size is usually one I start with when looking for the bigger mac...

Re: Dropout

Hi CycleImp, Could I ask how you are measure the CKP sensor? Also which PicoScope are you using to make this capture? When it comes to floating CKP signals we have to be mindful about how we connect. In all events it would be wise to measure one side of the sensor with reference to ground. Primary v...

Re: LIN Bus decoder & LIN Controlled Alternators

Hi Alex, Thank you for the feedback. As long as the articles we put out there are useful then its worth spending the time putting them together. With regards to your concern with the Jetta. It may be that there is nothing wrong with the alternator as some vehicles may require a road test before the ...

Re: NVH & HGV/Off Highway

Hi David, Thank you for the update and great to hear you're getting a connection with the NexIQ Blue Link Mini. Out of interest is the Blue Link Mini purely BlueTooth? It would be interesting to see how well this connects with the Pico NVH. My feeling is it might not work as it's using the RP1227 pr...

Re: Single wire CAN on CP Circuit

Hi tymcgee, I've uploaded it to the waveform library so as long as you've got an automotive scope you'll be able to grab it from there. Search under Tesla. If you need any further information please feel free to send in a message to support@picotech.com and put FAO of Ben Martins and we can always d...
