Re: Picoscope Automotive 6.13.1 beta

Hello Liviu, You can have both software versions installed onto one laptop but the scope will only one be seen by one of the software versions. It is not possible to run one scope with two software versions at the same time, unless you have two scopes connected to your laptop then one scope will use...

Re: Real time multimeter during capture

Hi Mastertech, As Tronic has already mentioned it is possible to add measurements to a live capture. MEASUREMENTS.jpg If you wanted to purely use PicoScope almost like a multimeter then the best advice I can give you is to alter your timebase to a relatively quick time, anything under 20ms/div works...

Re: Renault Megane strange engine...

Hi Victor, Thank you for your post. I've had a chance to look at your capture and I believe what we are seeing is the effects of diesel in the cylinder. Whilst I can't be 100% sure, we have seen this splitting of the tower when the injector has been left connected whilst carrying out a compression t...

Re: WPS600

Hello Tronic, I thought whilst we were on the subject of WPS600 here are a few of captures from what we have gathered so far. As I said a lot of work is being done here for WPS600 and we hope to have it all out there for the world to see very soon. In the meantime if you have managed to capture anyt...

Re: Digital Maf testing using presets

Hello Heardy, Hopefully we can help here. Firstly could I establish what PicoScope you have and which version of the software are you using? If you are getting a red 'block' of data as per the preset that is loaded when you click on the guided test then that is a good thing. The next stage is to see...

Re: PicoScope Beta 6.9 Waveform Library Browser

As I said dorcky, we are all here together to help us make the job that little bit easier and if there is a way in which we can do so then we need to share this information! Thank you for posting this option up for those that are still using XP. It would be great to hear some feedback from those tha...

Re: Cannot zoom in on capture.

Hi Tom, Apologies, there may have been a little confusion in my reply. I can see the issue with the file that mastertech02 has uploaded. I get the same problem when zooming in on the trace when opened in 6.12.7.2724 and the new BETA version of PicoScope. What I can't do is replicate the fault from c...

Re: Cannot zoom in on capture.

Hello mastertech02, Thank you for bringing this to our attention and please accept my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I think it has always been difficult to get to resolve this issue given due to the fact I cannot reproduce the bug using the settings provided (from the psdata file in ...

Re: Trial run using the PicoScope

Hi Technician, The other thing you could use is the automotive tab on the toolbar. This will load a preset with a trigger into your scope and allow you to quickly get something stable on the screen. There are a number of options here so pick the best one to suit the vehicle you are looking at. Somet...
