Re: 3-Cyl. VW Fox 2007 TDI - Timing right ?

For me the problem is somewhere else, the noise on the signal crankshaft is not a problem, I would check with compression and scann tool drift correction and injectors.
Regard.

Re: MAF testing

Also what margin would you allow, =/- 0.1V ? FF Yes the margin is +-0,1V. Hi FF, I think that it would be almost impossible to predict what airflow a MAF is reading (digital or analogue) without (as Tode says) having an extensive library of signal conversion files, and therefore it would be difficu...

Re: MAF testing

Hello FF, I to see if the MAF is calibrated, using a very simple method: - Ignition on and engine off, I read the voltage of the MAF if Bosch must be 1.0V and remain stable for a few minutes, sometimes it happens that the sensors start at 1.2V or 0.8V, if not calibrate or waiting a few minutes the v...

Re: Landrover Disco2 TD5 CPS strange peak

If the flywheel has holes as a reference signal should be overturned, but it depends on how you connect the leads, as with any inductive sensor when connected to "reverse" the shape is reversed, I think that if the connecting wire pickup also change the signal remains consistent with the presence of...

Re: Ford Focus EGR

I think that the electrically egr valve has nothing, could be stuck or broken mechanically, but before removing it I would check the air mass values with diagnostic tool, to a minimum with egr closed (loose connector) about 370/380 mg/cp (41 Kg/h or 11 g/s) if the values are different, perhaps l...

Re: How to use the "Display XY"?

Thanks Mike, I understand what it is , but I wanted to know if anyone uses this method to analyze some component, for example, pressure sensor, x-axis = pressure, Y-axis= voltage ... to learn new methods of diagnosis.
Best regards
:D

Do you use the "Display XY" feature? For what tests?

I hope I have chosen the correct section, I wanted to ask someone with more experience, as may be useful for me to use the "XY display", then a physical quantity in terms of another, instead of the time. Does anyone use this feature to test some special measures?

Re: Micra K11 Fuel pump

Electrically, the fuel pump does not have anything, but we need to see mechanically, or a problem with the pressure regulator, to be sure, you can check the fuel pressure and flow. :D
