Hiya looks like an amplitude problem to me,either the air gap is incorrect or the sensor is cracked or damaged causing the air gap to increase lowering the signal amplitude, you can get similar fault on ac wheel speed sensors,it does nt have to be much,it could even be a dual mass fault with a partia...
Why don't you check the amperage of the injectors when cranking?and use a 2nd channel to the frp to see what the pressure is doing?any pid for low pressure pump if fitted,
Have you any vibration @ idle?maybe a partially seized dual mass if it has one fitted, maybe mis triggering an injector, scope the cam crank signals against a known good capture,
Good morning, why dont you do a similar test on the rail sensor as the pcm does when the key is turned on using voltage?it is probably a piezo resistive sensor and will be three wire, reference, signal and ground,Most likely a 5v ref ,that is presuming you have good primary pressure to your high press...
Good morning,I have seen on this type of engine if it is a single cam 2.5diesel the pin shear off locating the cam sprocket allowing the camshaft to move relative to the the drive pulley, have to got a code for syncronisation as ok crank to camshaft?
Good morning i woulld say to see full amplitude of the crank back probe both crank wires, secondly maybe if the amplitude is the ok the air gap for the crank is to large,You should beable to generate a spark using a test lamp or make the injectors fire using the test light to subtitute the crank sens...
Hi good morning are you sure the crank sensor is not breaking down?it certainly looks like it is,is it possible to use a hot air gun or freeze spray to check?
Hi have you checked the oil level?oil level is very important for the vvt, also there is probably a criteria to be met before the vvt operates, engine rpm over a certain speed, also check the duty cycle to see if it changes with rpm,it may be the oil screen of the vvt solenoid may have a blockage or th...
