Re: audi s3 with cjxc engine

Post your waveform, lots of time across the screen from first start up to fault being set.

Freeze frame data from DTC too.

throwing a pending code for maf sensor high input. Watching live data pids. The maf is reading around 10 - 12 g/s at idle The fault seems to show it's self when driving. Perhaps scope it at time of fault looking for High Output as the code suggests. A high output could manifest as result of a poor ...

Re: 2019 Maserati Ghibli, low power under high load, sets P0299-00 and P0301-303.

To clarify, injector patterns were from Power and ground sides individually for each injector. Training manual states that injectors are "Current control via boost voltage and PWM controlled maintaining, one injector driver for two injectors". It does not state WHICH injectors are paired. Quite lik...

Re: Code setting criteria

Autodata is a great resource and getting better by the day, however there is so much it does not give. The VM technical Portal will be the most accurate and relevant to whatever you are working on. Once logged on you have the added benefit of guided testing, schematics and more. Other than that it i...

Re: scopes

What do you know of the 3000's as there is a couple on Ebay at the moment at a good price even though they discontinued. It may be a discontinued product however its job is to display Electrical Voltage plotted over time. Neither Voltage or time has changed over the last 100 years that I know about...

Alex
Yes, put the Resistor in Series and measure across it. Add another channel to monitor battery voltage.

When monitoring battery current over a long period of time you can add a charger directly to the battery to maintain correct voltage.

Something like this

Re: noise

Re: scopes

Automod If you are happy with the 2204 and it does what you need it to do then right there is your answer. A good quality scope is good scope ? However there are advantages to move towards the Pico Automotive Range, The waveform library is just one and then you may as well jump to a 4 channel, that ...
