Re: Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDI revs to limit

Do u stay or do u go I would stay with reviewed terms. Konas tips are good if u cannot run the engine; are you able to disable the injectors to save disassembly or will that shut down engine control? Ask when; where; how the problem occurred; any previous repairs/problems. Do not rely on the ...

Re: Strange Current waveform?

Hi Sen Cit I think you are using a2204a scope which is near useless for automotive diagnostics ! an automotive scope gives you the ability to examine the spark firing line in detail [misfires]using experience to determine spark failure, tracking, lean misfire etc a good scan tool and scope plus ...

Re: Strange Current waveform?

For good interpretation always send live files not screen shots, ch A is injector and looks OK ch B looks like ignition or interference, use channel references and notes to state the situation. I assume the vehicle is running OK and you are just looking at patterns, for fault diagnosis use a longer ...

Re: canbus

Hi This is not a case study situation u should be reporting on a fix not asking how to do it I realise you are seeking advise, silver bullet answers are rare, like so many posts or inquires on the forum, subscribers should at least use Pico, library, automotive, training, videos, and case studies ...

Re: How to diagnose root causes from faulty waveforms?

All of the professionals that put there fixes out there do a great job they are not running in depth training courses, as others have commented nothing replaces understanding system operation and basic test procedures, with out these the scan tool and scope more likely add to the confusion. I ...

Re: Kia Sportage 2011 performance

The post 02 should read 600 > 700mv light load or steady throttle confirming cat is doing its job, that in turn means pre cat sensor is controlling mixture you have an Asian wide band sensor 4 wire?, best measured via scan tool, scope measurement is possible but the fast response of these sensors ...
