Was looking for suggestions as to books worth getting on using the scope (or any others that would be useful) Has anyone read James Dillons Oscilloscope Diagnostics book? If...

Re: Hello Pico Forum!

All the best and if you need anything just give me a shout Hi Matt, You should think about popping over the border again and carrying out some of your other courses. Going by the comments from the other guys there, more knowledge was gained on your course, than the other courses these guys had been...

Re: Hello Pico Forum!

Hi Martyn I wouldn't say the presets are confusing. I think reason I am setting it up manually is it gets you thinking and understanding what you are testing. Re: Hello Pico Forum!

Hi Neil, Nah, not used it that much. Didn't go back to work until Wednesday. But had it on a polo playing about with injectors, lambda etc to get a feel of things. Had a Clio in for temp gauge not always working, was able to capture the fault on the scope. The temp sender had 2 outputs - one for das...

Re: Hello Pico Forum!

Hi Wally,

You were right, the course was great and pretty easy to understand.

I no longer use the automotive presets when using the scope, and just set it up manually. Seems like the 'mist' has lifted quite a bit on the use of the scope.

Matt, if your reading, thanks a million :)

Kevin.

Re: Hello Pico Forum!

I won't have anything with me. The scope has hardly been used, and when it has been, have ended up not quite getting results I would expect! :? To be fair though, we have been very busy, so never managed to give the scope the time it deserves Hopefully come next week I will be using it with confiden...

Hello Pico Forum!

Hi Just another new member to nip peoples heads! We have just purchased the 4 channel advanced kit, with the hope of gaining a better fix rate by confirming our suspicions with suspected faults etc. Only had a little play with it, and had mixed results, usually mainly bad at the moment :? However, I...
