Re: 2011 Mazda CX-7 in cylinder waveform

The compression peaks are clearly leaning. Please retake capture with an ignition reference and CKP sensor if you have enough channels, then upload at least one buffer of the .psdata file so we can take some measurements. Also state what pressure transducer you are using.

Re: Hello

Support after the sale is most important and the only way you'll reach competency with your Pico. I don't know which vendor you are talking about or your location. Might as well consider other options. I am a satisfied Autonerdz customer/member. Give them a call.

Re: Referencing the vertical curser to create a math channel

Is there a way to use the 2 vertical cursers, divide the time between them and plot other vertical lines at intervales equal to the division result? It sounds like you are looking for the Rulers feature. And BTW. Is there a way for a programmer to plot own graph overlay on a channel? i.e. a complil...

Re: Fuel Pressure Adapter

I believe that is an OTC quick coupler.

See Lang Tools 41327 and 60772.

Re: Understanding the battery current waveform

I was told that after the car starts and runs you should see a net current of 3 to 5 amps, but what I'm seeing is -26 amps. How does -26 amps equate to 3 to 5 amps? This spec doesn't make any sense out of context. All I can say is review this charging system video with Pete Meier and Vince Fischell...

Re: High voltage cable testing

Sorry Mr Littlejohn, I just read your previous post stating you work as a field engineer for Jeep. I did find that this model can be fully charged in 5 hours at a "standard household outlet"; or, you can charge it in 2 hours with an at-home charging station purchased separately (Jeep brand accessory...

Re: High voltage cable testing

What is the history of the vehicle? Recent auction purchase? Recent body shop visit? Since when does it set this DTC? What symptom is the concern? Since this is a 2020 or 2021 year model plug-in hybrid, consider the external HV charge cable as the cause of the DTC. Do you have the ability to plug-in...

Re: ford fiesta vibrations to the engine

I see you scoped the MAP Sensor and wastegate position sensors. This seems like wise choice. Your screen images show your math channel is on CH A. But, your channel labels show Duty Cycle on B. The gold trace(math channel) seems useless as a result of selecting A instead of B to formulate the math c...

Re: the engine does not start

I do not understand the symptom in your description. Either there is something lost in translation; or, grammar mistakes. Since you are using a 2205A, you will need to reduce the amount of time on the screen until your sample interval is low enough to reproduce the signal accurately. Even with your ...

Re: Distributerless Power & Waste Split Screen Scope

Steve, thanks for the viewports ideas. I will give those methods a try. samjesse, looks like Steve's suggestion will work depending on how many cylinders you need to capture. I was going to suggest the Pico Mixmaster PP361 with 3 channels deployed: CHA with an inductive sync probe or MI074 Secondary...
