Catch Phrases for bad techniques - Friday Fun

Hi all, it is Friday, and I'm after some phrases to describe the "poor" techniques within our industry - both relating to customers and well as "mechanics". Sorry for the cross posting for those on Facebook, but going to anyway :D Basically I'm after some other / alternative catch phases to describe...

Re: Wana Meet Steve Smith?

Thanks Danny, shame you'll not be there, have a great and no doubt well deserved break. Still a long way to go with that light sadly! The motor trade generically really needs to look at up-skilling or find itself regulated. Probably over regulated if we let the government do it as a result of self-r...

Re: Capcha

I'm being bombarded again by this and stupidly lost a long post, due to the captcha success but the body of the post being lost by the time it returned to Pico. Surely you can improve the way the temporary storage of the "post" is held while awaiting the captcha process? It gets very frustrating. :t...

Re: Signal Generator

Hi Glenn
Sadly, while other scientific Pico products do have external signal generators, the automotive ones do not (well except maybe custom Manufacturer specific ones).

Seems the delay in an answer I assume Pico have no up coming plans or someone from Pico would have said as much!

Re: CAN Going to sleep

Hi Two different issues here 1. The live at the EOBD is permanent live, so never goes to sleep 2. As Mark said, depending on model/year etc the different BUS will go to sleep, in anything from a few seconds to maybe 40minutes, say 60minutes as an outside. This is perfectly normal. If you device is d...
