Re: honda crf100 non start

Last post was rushed, I have not tested the resistance of the coil, will get the meter on it as and when workshop is quiet, no battery, voltage is generated by stator as far as I can tell. This has had a cdi unit but unsure of quality as supplied by customer. Customer has also brought in a 90cc quad...

Re: honda crf100 non start

Each ripple is as I'm kicking it over, can't quote the rpm, I think the first waveform is the business one but thought I better show what's happening out of the black/red wire as it might be relevant.

Re: motorbike ignition fault

Could it still be possible to check ignition timing via starter current and secondary pick up. If the cams are out though I can't imagine that we will see a difference.

Re: motorbike ignition fault

May pay to scope the crank signal, I've got a 600 and could scope that as I believe they use the same pick up.

wps diagnosis, this looks wrong.

hi all, i had a stilo in today for a stalling fault but customer was unsure if the cam belt timing was ok as according to google diagnostics the stalling is pretty much caused by cam belt timing out. im not as yet going into details about the problem with the stilo as this is irrelevant i feel, i wa...

Re: 02 Clio smelly cat

Hi, I've mot tested a few clios with smelly cats during the emission test, co low(less than 0.100), hc low and lambda 1.000, it might be a sign of a tired cat.

Older fiestas (k-m reg) used to stink like rotten eggs but once hot went through the test no problem.
