Re: Wheel bearing failure

Hello Victor. The reason for using the accelerometers is that i know its a Wheel bearing failure, and i was hoping that when using 2 sensors i would see a greater vibration amplitude from the offending Wheel. Plus I can feel the bearing failure from the driver seat. I have made a capture using the m...

I thought it would be a good opportunity to practice with my NVH kit. So i attached 2 sensors to the left and right strut towe...

Re: Alfa Romeo MITO P1062

Hi RYM.
A function description for the multiair system, can be found on Alfa E-Learn.

I think the ECU is looking at the missing V-shape of the current profile, and flags the P1062 Code

Re: CAN BUS question

Did you try to remove the battery terminals and holding them toghether. I had one where the system returned to normal operation after the batteri was disconnected for 10 minutes.

Re: Skoda Octavia 2,0 TDI CR 2011 CFHC P0641 - Fixed

The car has been driven by the customer for almost a month now with no issues. I replaced the dpf sensor that was intermittently shorting out internalley, with a new genuine part. The new sensor consumes approximately 20mA on the feed wire. Thanks to Richard and STC for your input and great ideas. R...

Re: Skoda Octavia 2,0 TDI CR 2011 CFHC P0641

From what I have read and understood is that your DPF sensor is at fault - Internally Shorted ? - Is that correct ?
Yes that is my conclusion based upon clamp placement, tomorrow i will fit a new genuine pressure sensor.

Re: Skoda Octavia 2,0 TDI CR 2011 CFHC P0641

Progress has been made. :-) I newer thought of measuring for contiunity on the ECU to establish what sensors internalley shares the different 5V feeds. Thanks for that STC. But the biggest problem was before the car acted up, i only have the regulator A fault code, and with no documentation of what ...

Hello Richard and STC.

Thank you for answering, there are some great ideas, and i will set up some further tests, and get back with the results.

@ STC Sorry for the mistake with the model year of the car, its 2011. Well spottet :-)
