Re: Vauxhall Zafira idle fluctuation

There is a software update for this but I've seen 2 vehicles return already. I looked at one last week and carried out a fuel injection quantity learn. This solved the idle problem. I checked live data and the actual fuel pressure was jumping up and down. There is also a tsb for the moaning noise yo...

Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Ahh MAP sensor...

I can't view any of the files as I'm on my ipad

Failure to go rich during a WOT could indicate a fuel pressure issue.

As mentioned above looking at fuel pump current would be interesting before the fuel pressure test.

Re: 2003 Clio P0170

Dave Until you can get a fuel pressure test carried out... Scope 02 sensor 1 and take it for a drive. Give it full throttle and watch what it does.... It should stay rich while your at full throttle WOT Have you scoped the MAF and carried out a snap throttle test? Is the MAF analogue or digital? You...

Re: Audi A4 EGR fault

Certainly no VAG expert but if it's a 5 wire egr, I would imagine 2 are power and ground(duty cycled control) and the other 3 are a position sensor (power, ground and signal)

I'll keep an eye on this thread... :D

Re: 2007 vauxaull vectra 1.9 dth poor starting

Does starter sound like its spinning quick enough? Had a few of these needing starters for poor starting, maybe worth seeing what kind of rpm speed you have? I 2nd this, fixed 2 eight valve ones with new starters. Although a cam crank waveform would be nice for future reference. I have a z19dt one ...

Re: Vauxhall Corsa y13dt Barometric problem!

Colin From what your describing it does sound like a seized/sticking waste gate. You won't see much movement just revving the engine. Have you got a mity vac? or... The Wastegate is a little tricky to get to but I long pry bar can get in to push the Wastegate from underneath when on the ramp to see ...

Re: Vauxhall Corsa y13dt Barometric problem!

What make is the map sensor fitted? I've had experiences with poor non gen maps before. Have you tested the full circuit ie powers and ground and sensor signal integrity etc. The circuit should be a pull down design ie 5v when unplugged if I remember right. If that's the only code you have and no bo...
