Failure to go rich during a WOT could indicate a fuel pressure issue.

As mentioned above looking at fuel pump current would be interesting before the fuel pressure test.

Certainly no VAG expert but if it's a 5 wire egr, I would imagine 2 are power and ground(duty cycled control) and the other 3 are a position sensor (power,ground and signal)

What make is the map sensor fitted? I've had experiences with poor non gen maps before.
