Re: Valve timing with wps

Hi,
Most likely that the problem is in the valves. The belt is installed correctly.
Make a record of pressure in the intake manifold at idle.

Good luck.

Re: probe for fuel ethanol percentage sensor

Hello ,
Input units for PICO can only be:
- microvolts;
- millivolts;
- volts;
- kilovolts;
You have an output signal - hertz.
It seems you can’t just create a probe for your sensor.
It is possible to create a script, but it is more complicated.

Re: TOP ISSUE...

....... Your evaluation was made on engine at idle or on engine engaged by starter?Here we talk about engine,starter,battery and a lot of cables :lol: Yeah! Here is an example at 285 rpm. The time difference is 1.67 ms. On this principle, leakage is calculated in a well-known script. Only there the...

Re: TOP ISSUE...

Maybe because is hard to compress the gases, easy to emty the cylinder (Angular speed is variable using the starter)? Using your way you can find a wrong opening/closing of valves on a working engine :o Yes, everything is correct. But the point is the difference in time ... The larger the differenc...

........
Perhaps there is a problem with the mechanical part of the engine.
Either there is air leak in the area of the first cylinder or the PCV system.

Your waveform confirms this:

.... can be see to be as low as 4 kv and jump back to 15 kv. This did not show up on the last waveforms when tested. Looks to me like the wasted coil pack is at the end ........
By changing the resolution you will get different voltage values. :shock:
The question is what voltage is real ? :?:

Not normally any adjustment possible to the valves, they are hydraulic tappets. .........

Re: Opel Vectra C Z18XER compression waveform doubt

Hi,

Influence Camshafts Adjusters. (If the accelerator pedal has not been pressed ?)

Try repeat measurement at IDEL.
