Re: Ford Smart Charging Systems

The bms has to be reset even if the battery has been charged of the vehicle.
Ign on press rear fog 4times and hazards twice.
If that doesn't work the bms will refresh after a period with no load usually overnight . Your soc pid will confirm this .

Re: Ford Smart Charging Systems

You need to look.at the lin signal.as this is the control for the generator. The battery soc has direct influence is we have a bms sensor. If not its just a voltage increase at the pcm.power supply that gives verification.

Re: 2012 Focus cuts out cam crank ?

Does this log a correlation error between cam, crank . If so run pcm service function to clear learned values. If not and engine changed for overheating check injectors for fuel delivery.
The other issue ive seen is the coil ground not secured correctly to the engine block .

Re: Ford S-max 1.8TDCI Diesel Knock after exchange engine

The 1.8 lynx engine uses siemens commin rail piezo
Injectors. The only reset is knock limit adaption and this is only after an engine repair or multiple injector replacement.
The adaption is made during the next 600-1000mls of normal driving.
But in experience makes little or no difference
