ecu end as its easier to get too
and its the ecu that does the switching which is what i want to see.
Pretty sure the ecu is fudged anyway as i have no spark on 1+4 and spark drops out on 2+3.

Checking coil drivers on a 2000 ka wasted spark system

Been playing with a KA this morning which won't start no spark on 1 and 4 checked the wiring back to ecu and its good so i need to check the coil drivers. Live to coil is good. Having very little experience with my pico i don't want to damage a the car or b the scope so need a little help with conne...

Did see the car again today but did my own manual compression test to verify the customers findings and the found a definate mechanical fault.

Will give the test a try on a couple of my vehicles to see if i get similar results or problems.

Signal Strength was 100% all 10 times i tried it. I didn't try loading any higher then just head lights if the customer comes back today i will have a go but he manually tested compression and found it to be low on one bank. I code read and found multiple misfire codes. I think he's already decided ...

Error On Cylinder Balance Test

Keep getting eratic readings and an error message and it all stops after about 10 secs.
Error - Index was outside the bounds of the array
What is that likely to mean?

Just tried to use the automotive drop down menu method and sack off the third channel which results in me picking up current and massive interference on channel 1 When i should have 0v i have what looks like a high frequency ac ranging from 4v to -4v what am i doing wrong?

This is probably a very basic and easy thing to do but i want to use my 4 channel automotive scope to read 2 channels of voltage at injectors and one with a current clamp. If i use the automotive drop dopwn menu my nice voltage read out goes mental. If i set up with out that i cannot for the life of...
