Re: 14 RAM hemi misfire

Hi Rburgy, I'm sorry to tell you but you don't use your scope properly.Scope sample interval in secondary waveform is 25 microseconds,it's to way slow to be useful in my opinion. It's a same story with coil control waveform (50 microseconds).Maybe that's way you have odd kV spikes. You need to set sco...

Re: Grande Punto 1.3 multijet

Hy, how do you solve the problem, you change the rotaphonic wheel ? i have the same problem with a 1.3JTD fiat doblo 2006 the ecu don't read signal from the sensor Georgica67, yes, rotaphonic wheel was replaced and that was solution for my problem but it doesn't mean necessary that it's solution for...

Re: Alfa Romeo MITO P1062

Update for this topic. Some problems with misfire in cold conditions were solved by only cleaning oil filter for multi-air module in cylinder head.It was very dirty in that cases...

Hy,
I'm curious how that engine detects misfire,by CKP sensor only or by "eldor ignition module" if that engine have it like a 2.9 twin turbo in Alfa Romeo Giulia QV.Maybe it's same or similar engine.I think/suspect that both engines are derived from Ferrari.

Best regards Dejan

Re: Audi S2, secondary ignition waveform

Hy, in my opinion,3.cyl. could have a problem because it has so clean "sparkline voltage" in ignition waveform.Noise on other cylinders could be from spark taking place between electrodes of spark plug inside cylinder under load and turbulence.Keep in mind engine RPM also.In these circumstances,nois...

Re: Alfa Romeo MITO P1062

The mechanical fault inside module is that compression chamber for oil had stripped threads and because of that there couldn't be any oil pressure to open intake valves on 1.cil.

Re: Grande Punto 1.3 multijet

Hi, update for this discussion.I had same problem with another vehicle and that one is fixed. The cause was rotaphonic wheel for CKP sensor. There is very slight visually damage on it and that is it doesn't have perfect round shape,it's oval a little bit on one place. That caused the clearance between ...

Re: Alfa Romeo MITO P1062

Hi, I have update for this discussion.I recently worked on Fiat Punto Evo 1.4 turbo multi air 2012. year.Car had constant misfire and registered only one dtc,P0301 (1.cil. misfire). There was no compression on 1.cil. and I diagnose and after that replaced faulty multiair module. That was fix for this ...

Re: Grande Punto 1.3 multijet

Try unplugging large current consuming actuators 1 at a time. I.e EGR and throttle body motors to see if any of them stop this from happening it's rare but I have seen them leak unwanted voltage into an ECU and cause it to misbehave. Maybe even injector cut off test using scan tool may help. I trie...
