Re: Trial run using the PicoScope

Thanks Ben, Yes I have been aware of the automotive tab for some time, I've spent quite a long time researching the Pico site and seen some very good information and instructions, the added advantage of being able to download the Pico software even without having a Pico scope over the years has been...

I have completed another ignition primary trace and played around with the settings to achieve the best waveform on screen. When the scope is running it appears that the w...

Re: Uploading ps.data files

Monday was just an introduction, next Monday we are advised is workshop tasks/practice. The course is not actually covering electronics as I initially thought, the lecturer advises it is auto-electrical theory and workshop practice, actual working on real world problems in vehicle electrics and engi...

Trial run using the PicoScope

Vauxhall_Corsa_2002_Petrol_Ignition coil primary current.psdata I used the Pico on a Vauxhall today, grabbed a few captures and starting learning the Pico software, don't think I've done too badly for a very first time. I'm impressed I have no noise etc on the scope traces :D Looking at the scope t...

Re: Peugeot 307 nfu misfire cold

Looking at your scope traces two or three cylinders spark lines are seriously sloping in the downwards direction, normally these slope lines are reasonable horizontal with a slight gradient. I'd be removing the spark plugs for a thorough visual inspection, check the centre electrode for detachment, ...
