I have a little confusion about the term Misfire recently. Can somebody here make a exact definition for me? What is Misfire?

Thanks advance.

What prompts you to ask the question?

This seems like a fairly normal "well understood" term.

Re: VW Polo 1,4cc No Start When Hot

That particular type of sensor caused a non start problem on 99% of VAG's it was fitted to, I think its a little bit of overkill timewise scoping it when you can see the problem in the live data. Quick test unplug it, if it starts then you've saved 10 mins and can move on to the next one I could no...

Re: Hello new to the forum

Hello, I am looking at the 4 channel standard scope kit. I am an automotive technician and have never used a scope. I know it's sad, but I am trying to better myself in the diagnostic field. I currently have my personal car that is having cam and crank sync issues. I'm looking to scope both cam sen...

Re: Renault Master P1882

Isn't this a forum aimed at those who are interested at developing their scoping techniques?

Is your post appropriate for this forum?

Do you have access to a Pico scope?

Re: Citreon C5 P0351 code

Great Post! On the face of it, I would have thought that you were looking at an intermittent short in the primary windings or something similar. Re: Kia scope vs pico

Hi Gruss Don't beat yourself up over your question. It won't be long before you understand things more fully. I can say this without feeling smug, as I can remember asking a similar question when I started out on my Pico voyage. Looking back, I feel rather embarrassed. But in reality it demonstrates...
