Re: P1191 Opel Vectra Z22YH engine

Hi Simon, Steve, Sharon  ....? :?: I didn't pull it up as a criticism or a challenge, just wondered if you knew something that I didn't hence an opportunity to learn something. I didn't take your inquisitive post as a challenge, simply a reasonable request for some more info & I hope that my re...

Re: P1191 Opel Vectra Z22YH engine

Hi STC (your real name would be nice ;-) ) You are correct, in that my analysis of PCM duty cycle command, against rail pressure sensor voltage does nothing more than confirm the corresponding fuel pressure increase does not occur & it reveals nothing about the likely cause. This is a good while ago...

This is probably of little use now, but here is my contribution, relevant to this fault code (from the case study library)

Re: In cylinder pressure waveform "blip"

Hi Steve

I noticed that the psdata file that you shared in your second post, does not look like the same capture as the one in your first post. The injector current events are different.

Or have I mistook something? (quite likely)

Re: Pico Automotive Feature Requests

Hi Steve

Thanks for that very helpful response.

I shall have a play with those maths channels that you included.

Re: Pico Automotive Feature Requests

Thanks all for the responses. I have to ask myself though, can it really be so hard, to introduce a proper measurement for ground switch duty cycle? Surely we shouldn't have to create a maths channel though, to allow us to use a function that needs to be there by default. It feels a little bit like ...

Pico Automotive Feature Requests

Good evening group. It is hard to criticise PicoScope on the whole, as their products & the company ethos are exceptional & quite unique in this day & age, however if I was to raise a niggle, then it would be this. The implementation of seemingly obvious features that are kind of basic & necessary w...

Re: Insignia P03A7,P03A3 PSG's troubleshooting

Quite expensive these glow plugs, so it is worth a bash in an ultrasonic bath (As Robski suggested) Here are some photos to stimulate the thought process. .. . . http://www.londonroadgarage.com/images/dirtyplugcloseup.jpg Here is the same plug after a couple of minutes of ultrasonic cleaning . . . h...

Thank You Pico (Again)

I just need to show my appreciation yet again to the great service that Pico provide.

My 4000 series scope suffered a problem with channel A & I sent it in for attention. It was returned within three days, fully restored & with zero cost too.

Thank you Pico for the excellent service! :D
