Re: New PicoScope Automotive Software 6.13.17.4271

I must say the initial freezing issues seem to have passed so likely due to the laptop I was using although there does seem to be a delay with the play and stop capture so its easy to lose the capture as I have done a few times. It would be nice to know if anyone else has the same issue or if that's...

Re: Hello!

Hi Carl Welcome to Pico, I am also a HGV mechanic and have only had the Pico for a few months but I wouldn't be without it now, its worth remembering that people may have the waveforms you need saved on the computer but not yet uploaded them so its worth posting if there is something specific you ar...

Re: New PicoScope Automotive Software 6.13.17.4271

I too have been struggling with the software freezing, it has happened twice today the first time was when it was loading up and then again later on whilst using the scope I was changing a channel setting from a back probe to an amp clamp and once I’d selected the clamp the software froze and I had ...

Software crashes new probe

Is anyone else having the software crash, if I attempt to add a custom probe as soon as I click new probe the software comes up with an error report then shuts down, I tried to send the error report but that fails to. I tried another laptop same issue and uninstalled the software and re downloaded i...

Re: Getting started with my 4425

Yeah, not before the first try but defo for the last 9 :D
It must have been the internet my end tho as it’s worked fine today and I’ve managed to upload 2 and they were much better captures anyway and show good and bad so it’s actually my first successful fix using the Pico 8)

Re: Getting started with my 4425

I thought I give the Pico another go today and I actually manged to get a reasonably good capture although I need to play with the settings to get a bit more detail but I thought I'd try and share the capture on the waveform library. I have labelled everything and filled out all the boxes but when I...

Re: Getting started with my 4425

Hi Steve, that’s funny I thought I’d use the automotive tab so I didn’t mess up the setup lol, it makes me feel better that I wasn’t being a complete idiot so thanks for that although I did attempt to alter the probe selected to the 2000amp@200 but I believe I made an error myself there as I used the...

Getting started with my 4425

Hi guys just so you know I watched many YouTube videos and tutorials plus read most of the case studies so I thought I was pretty prepared for getting started but I am struggling, maybe it’s just confidence in knowing that I have got everything hooked up and what I’m seeing on the screen is a good r...

Re: Hi from Kent

Hi Ben Sorry for the late reply I only just found your response... still finding my way around lol. I did think it was worth the extra for the ignition bits and bobs just in case not to mention the extra amp clamp, I will keep that in mind about the cop probe as that sounds like it could be useful, ...
