So I got stuck with a job I didn't really want in the first place and now its giving me grief as I knew it would, Its a 2006 Volvo FE 7.2 litre straight 6 (Deutz) D7e and it come to me from a new unknown customer with a lack of power and after a visual check and a code read it showed an active fault...

I have a 1.4vti that I have replaced the timing chain and it has no issues so I have took some captures from it using your settings so as good as a comparison you will get hopefully I also uploaded them to the library and done some running ones while I was there CAMCRANK CRANKING VTI OIL DISCONNECTE...

Something that could be worth having instead of a Bluetooth scope you could run an app like remote ripple where the laptop can be connected to the scope via usb and then have a tablet that mirrors the laptop via the remote ripple and you can control the laptop from the tablet also, I currently use t...

Hi I would normally scope the fuel pressure sensor signal to see what is going on in the rail at idle and shut down I would usually expect around 1.6v at idle and expect it to take at least 40 seconds to decay when you turn it off, the odd thing is your fault code is pointing to pressure being high ...

It depends on what your doing but for compression you could use the peaks or add a channel and use spark or injector pulse, you can use the crankshaft if it has sync gap.
